Master's degree
The Master level degrees offered by the Aalto University School of Science and Technology are:
- Master of Science (Technology)
- Master of Science (Architecture)
- Master of Science (Landscape Architecture)
The degrees require studies totaling 120 credits (ECTS) which includes a 30 credit thesis. The instruction of the degree programmes is organised in such a manner that it is possible for a student to acquire approximately 60 credits in one academic year and graduate in two years.

International Master's Degree Programmes
There are seventeen Master’s degree programmes offered completely in English and leading to a Master of Science degree. International students that are interested in studying towards a Master's degree at the Aalto University School of Science and Technology, are recommended to choose one among them.
Erasmus Mundus Programmes
The Erasmus Mundus programme is a co-operation and mobility programme which promotes the European Union as a centre of excellence in learning around the world. It supports European top-quality Masters Courses and provides EU-funded scholarships for third country nationals participating in these Masters Courses. the Aalto University School of Science and Technology participates in five Erasmus Mundus Programmes.
General Master level degree programmes
The School of Science and Technologyoffers nineteen degree programmes leading to a Master’s degree. Most of these degree programmes are offered mainly in Finnish/Swedish.
