The standard of education and research provided by the Institute of Real Estate Studies is the most comprehensive and versatile in Finland. The Institute is a part of the Department of Surveying. The real estate studies offer the following options of specialisation: Real Estate Economics and Valuation, Real Estate Management, and Land Management.

What is it all about?

The disciplines of real estate studies are focused on the technical, economic and social phenomena involved in real estates. In practice this means studying the real estate market, valuation, systems, legislation, transactions, business, management, and land use policy, both on the domestic and international scale.

Head of the Institute is professor Mr. Kauko Viitanen (in finnish).
